Principal's Message
Dear Families,
This week, our Year 6 students continue to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. They will be led by students from Marist Sion College in a reflection day hosted by St John's Koo Wee Rup. We look forward to hearing their reflections and sharing in the Sacrament with them next week. Thank you to Parents, Parishioners, Mrs Bertoncello, Mrs Dupplock, Miss Rushton and Mr M for supporting our students on their faith journey.
Last week during our Catholic Education Week Mass at SFX, Mrs Bertoncello was commissioned as our newly appointed Religious Education Leader. We congratulate Loren on this appointment and thank her for the wonderful work she is doing in leading our school in Catholic Identity and Religious Education.

Kind Regards, Bec Kollaris

National Reconciliation Week
This week is National Reconciliation Week. We acknowledge and celebrate our strong links to our First Nations' people, as we walk together in forgiveness, hope reconciliation and in the spirit of inclusion we pray:
Lord God, bring us together as one,
Reconciled with you and reconciled with each other.
You made us in your likeness,
You gave us your Son, Jesus Christ.
He has given us forgiveness from sin.
Lord God, bring us together as one,
Different in culture, but given new life in Jesus Christ,
Together as your body, your Church, your people.
Lord God, bring us together as one,
Reconciled, healed, forgiven,
Sharing you with others as you have called us to do.
In Jesus Christ, let us be together as one.
Amen.
Yesterday, our staff were fortunate to continue their work with Peta Murray, our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Consultant. We always look forward to working with Peta and sharing ways to support our Indigenous families through openness and dialogue as we do all cultures and faiths. It is through this dialogue and openness that true Reconciliation is enacted. We look forward to working with Peta again next term.
