Principal's Message
Dear Families,
Our Prayers and Picnics was a wonderful remembrance of the events of Holy Week which are central to our faith and our identity as a Catholic School Community. Bishop Greg is encouraging us all to go out and take the Church to our communities as Pilgrims of Hope and be the living face of Christ to all we meet, regardless of their faith, culture or background. As a community, we were certainly that on Monday.

School Photos
Dear Parents,
School photo day is upon us. Group and portrait photographs can be purchased by following the link below for 7 days from the day photos are taken, after which late fees/additional charges will be incurred.
2 easy ways to purchase before late fees apply:
- Visa, MasterCard or PayPal
- Cash – complete the envelope supplied and return it to our photographer on photo day
Or visit: www.advancedlife.com.au
And enter online order code: DZB MBG TWC
School photography information:
- Online orders - do not require an envelope returned to your school
- Late fees - a late fee will be applied to each package purchased more than 7 days after photo day due to the additional cost of producing these packages separately
- Package delivery - School photographs will be returned approximately 6 weeks after the day of photography. Please note this delivery timeframe is dependent on proofing and additional photography days at your school.
- Previous Years’ photos - Past years’ photographs including sports, co-curricular and representative groups are also available to order under the 'previous years or group photo' tabs at your school’s advancedorder site when you click on the 'Order School Photos Here' button above. You can also order past packages, portrait images and gifts from your child’s unique, individual and secure advancedyou image archive site using the unique 9 digit image code found on packages you have ordered in the past

Anzac Day 2025
St James is again supporting the Anzac Day Appeal, selling pins, badges, pens and other goodies. The grade 6 leaders will visit each class each morning if children wish to make a purchase/donation. Please note no change is able to be given so children will need to have correct money.

Lost Property
Each day a number of items are brought to the office as "lost property". If names are on items they are returned to the child, however there is a large amount that do not have names or have names of past students. This is a timely reminder to ensure that you are naming all your children's garments.
A lost property box has been put in the Admin Foyer. Parents are welcome to check this at any time. At the end of each term, this box will be emptied and items donated to the second hand uniform shop.
