Principal's Message
Dear Families,
As announced by our student Wellbeing Leaders at Assembly last Friday, the last day of term will be a free dress day. This is in recognition of the work students have done academically and socially this term. We have had a focus on safe movement around the school and students have responded really well to this with a notable reduction in visits to sickbay due to collisions. Our priority areas have been the pathways, particularly from the toilets to classrooms and games of chasey on playground equipment. Chasey has not been restricted but moved to larger areas to run and in some instances hide, when hide and seek has been preferred, resulting in more fun and faster paced games for our students.
This week, Mrs Bertoncello is attending our Diocesean Religious Education Leaders' conference on Thursday and Friday. We look forward to benefiting from her learning in the coming weeks. Next week, Miss M will be absent as she commences her nursing placement. Miss Velten and Mr G will be replacing her.
Get well soon Mrs Hermann who is recovering from a fall from her horse. Trish should be back next week. Thank you to Mrs O'Shanesy for stepping in for consistency. Roslyn Webb will be taking the class Thursday and Friday.
Some girls have approached me regarding wearing scorts for PE in the cold weather. Given that we are reviewing uniform, they have asked if they can wear leggings under their scorts in the interim (please ensure these are blue or black only). We thank them for bringing this idea to us as a cost effective, short term solution.
Our Year 2/3 students have loved making cuppas for families before assembly. They'll be doing this again this Friday if you'd like to drop past and sample their hospitality.

To ensure that you keep up to date with what is happening with your children and within the school please ensure that you have access to these platforms and are familiar with their uses.

From time to time it will also be necessary for emails and text messages to be sent.
